Aqueous combination of plant based essentials oils; aloe; nutrients and purified water. Used in conjunction with the Skinfood oils, the spritzers and oil together create a nourishing (oil) and moisturizing (spritz) blend. Skin eats oil and drinks water. The benefit of a cream or lotion is that it supplies oil and water together to the skin. The problem with a cream or lotion is that in order to blend the oil and water, a third ingredient is required. Waxes emulsify oil and water. Most waxes used in cosmetics are petroleum based... not good. Once a product is emulsified the problem of rancidity becomes greater, so radical chemical preservatives are usually added to ensure a very long shelf life (years). So what was simply: oil and water, has now become a creamy blend of petrochemicals with about 10% oil, and polluted water! Using the Skinfood Oils with the Spritzer floral waters, supplies nutrients, plus water; without any of the wax or chemicals used to make creams and lotions. Apply oils to clean skin; lightly spray spritzer over oils; gently pat dry with a towel.
Spritzers may also be used for a quick clean up. Available in: Floral or Rosepetal.
